Enhancing visual appeal by incorporating music, effects, graphics, and transitions, and managing color correction and basic sound editing are also part of the job. Collaboration with design and marketing teams plus staying updated on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and ad video trends are integral aspects of this role. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in video shooting and editing, proficiency in video editing tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, a good eye for framing, lighting, and storytelling, and the ability to manage time efficiently to deliver high-quality edits independently. A portfolio or samples of past video work are mandatory for applicants. Additional experience with product or event photography, knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics, and familiarity with setting up lighting and sound gear are considered as nice-to-have qualifications.
