Video Editor - Advertising

As a Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer at our advertising agency, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of compelling video edits and visually striking motion graphics for a variety of digital, social, and brand campaigns. Your role will involve collaborating with various team members to bring ideas to life and maintain brand consistency. Here is a breakdown of what to expect in this role: - Edit raw footage to produce polished video content for ads, social media, brand films, product explainers, reels, and more. - Design and animate motion graphics elements such as logo animations, lower thirds, infographics, transitions, and text overlays. - Work closely with copywriters, graphic designers, and account managers to understand project goals and creative direction. - Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and campaign tone throughout all projects. - Manage post-production workflows, including tasks like sound design, color correction, and basic visual effects. - Stay informed about trends in video formats, editing techniques, and platform requirements for various channels like Instagram, YouTube, Meta, etc. - Organize and archive project files systematically to facilitate easy access and re-use. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Film, Design, Animation, Communication, or a related field (preferred). - 2+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, with agency experience being a plus. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (knowledge of Illustrator, Audition, or Final Cut Pro is advantageous). - Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audio-visual synchronization. - Ability to handle tight deadlines and multitask efficiently without compromising on quality. - Creative eye and attention to detail. - A mandatory portfolio/demo reel showcasing a variety of video editing and motion design work.
