Job Title : Video Editor and content creater

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities:

Shooting:

• Plan and shoot product videos, unboxing demos, reels, testimonials, and lifestyle shots
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment in studio and on location
• Source props, scout settings, and direct models or on-camera talent
• Ensure all footage is high-quality, well-framed, and optimized for digital platforms

Editing:

• Edit videos into engaging short-form content optimized for social media (9:16, 1:1 formats)
• Add motion graphics, captions, music, transitions, and sound effects
• Repurpose content into multiple formats for ads, reels, TikToks, and more
• Follow brand guidelines and campaign briefs to maintain visual consistency
• Stay updated with trends and viral formats to keep content fresh and relevant

What You Should Be Comfortable With:

• Cameras & Gear: DSLR/mirrorless (Sony/Canon), gimbals, softbox lighting, mics
• Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro
• Audio/Lighting Setup: Lavalier mics, softboxes, tripods, RGB lighting
• Bonus: AI editing tools (Descript, RunwayML), Canva or Figma basics

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in video production & editing, ideally for brands or eCommerce
• A strong portfolio with product-based or UGC-style short-form content
• Creative instincts for storytelling, hooks, and platform-specific video trends
• Ability to handle projects independently — from concept to final cut
• Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate for an in-office role
