Vice President of Credit

As the Vice President of Credit Operations at Digamber Capfins in Jaipur, Rajasthan, you will play a crucial role in managing the credit lifecycle for Retail and MSME loan products, focusing on credit appraisal, policy adherence, risk management, portfolio quality, and operational efficiency to support the goal of financial inclusion and sustainable lending practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading underwriting, appraisal, and approvals for Retail/MSME loans while maintaining TAT, quality, and policy adherence. - Collaborating with sourcing teams to make optimal credit decisions. - Defining and upgrading SOPs according to regulatory guidelines and driving digitization and automation in credit processing. - Monitoring early delinquencies, partnering with fraud risk teams, and supporting risk mitigation through process interventions. - Leading and mentoring the credit ops team, liaising with various teams for seamless execution, and ensuring vendor performance. Skills required for this role: - Strong analytical & decision-making capabilities. - Sound knowledge of Retail & MSME lending practices. - Stakeholder management and leadership excellence. - Process-driven mindset with attention to detail. - Resilience under pressure and target-oriented execution. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: MBA or Graduate (Finance/Banking preferred). - Experience: 7-10 years total, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in credit underwriting of Unsecured/Secured Individual Loans, Business/MSME Loans, and Retail Loans.
