Role & responsibilities

Spearheaded marketing for Steel vertical, driving growth across diversified product lines including TMT, nails, wire, channels, angles. Directed pricing strategies for retail and smaller projects and finalized schemes for distributors, dealers, retailers, and influencers to ensure competitive positioning and profitability. Built and mentored a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Developed and executed robust Go-to-Market strategies aligned with business objectives and evolving market dynamics. Championed the shift to data-driven marketing, establishing real-time analytics, performance monitoring, insights-led decision-making & process automation. Formulated agile marketing strategies to navigate market volatility, steel price fluctuations, and regulatory shifts, ensuring business resilience. Provided strategic direction on budgeting, channel management, brand development, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs. Conducted extensive market visits across West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, and Haryana, deepening engagement with cement, steel, and building material networks. Maintained sharp market intelligence and competitor analysis for proactive decision-making. Led media buying and executed integrated ATL/BTL campaigns to boost brand visibility and consumer engagement. Managed end-to-end execution of corporate events, dealer meets, employee engagement programs, and incentive tours (domestic and international). Championed brand promotion initiatives at state and district levels to strengthen market presence. Drove enhancements in marketing operations, including MIS, reporting systems, and CRM upgrades for improved tracking and agility. Pioneered process automation to streamline dealer and distributor servicing. Steering government departmental project approvals, driving end-to-end coordination with regulatory authorities to fast-track clearances. Implemented digital marketing initiatives for lead generation, dealer acquisition, and brand visibility via Justdial, Indiamart, and social media platforms. Developed dealer engagement and loyalty programs to enhance retention and maximize lifetime value across channel partners.
