As a member of the team supporting the Equity Derivatives and Trading desk within the Commodities and Global Markets Group at Macquarie, you will be part of a dynamic group that specializes in funding arbitrage, derivatives, global instruments, and algorithmic strategies across various regions including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Your primary responsibility in this role will involve working closely with the Equity Derivatives Trading desks to enhance and support the in-house trading platform. You will have the chance to participate in digital transformation projects, allowing you to expand and refine your skill set. Your tasks will include developing test automation systems for software component testing, devising solutions for automating build systems to facilitate continuous delivery, and utilizing languages such as C#, JavaScript, and other scripting languages. To excel in this position, you should possess 12 to 15 years of experience in Windows C# development, a strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading, and a familiarity with the FIX protocol and equity derivatives trading. Ensuring the high availability of trading systems through comprehensive test coverage, release management, and ongoing production support is essential. Experience with web-based technologies, REST APIs, JavaScript, and NoSQL databases is advantageous.
