Pet Boarding Attendant / Pet Care Assistant

The Pet Boarding Attendant is responsible for providing daily care, feeding, hygiene, and supervision of pets staying at the boarding facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Feed pets as per schedule and dietary instructions
• Clean and maintain kennels, cages, litter areas, and play zones
• Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or injury and report immediately
• Walk, exercise, and socialize pets appropriately
• Administer basic medications as instructed by the veterinarian
• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Handle pets safely and humanely
• Maintain daily care and boarding records
• Communicate with pet owners regarding pet status when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Diploma in animal care preferred)
• Experience in pet boarding, kennel management, or animal handling preferred
• Freshers with genuine interest in animal care may apply

Skills & Competencies

• Love and compassion for animals
• Basic knowledge of pet behaviour and handling
• Physical ability to handle animals and perform cleaning tasks
• Good observation and reporting skills
• Responsible and patient attitude

Job Title: Veterinary Assistant / Animal Health Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Prepare animals for treatment and minor surgeries
• Restrain animals safely during procedures
• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as directed
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment
• Monitor hospitalized animals and report changes in condition
• Maintain medical records and inventory of supplies
• Assist in vaccination, deworming, and health camps
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Certificate in Veterinary Assistant or Animal Health (preferred)
• Experience in veterinary clinic or hospital preferred
• Freshers with relevant training may apply

• Basic veterinary nursing and animal care skills
• Ability to handle animals calmly and safely
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and follow medical instructions
• Compassionate and ethical approach to animal welfare

Work Schedule (Both Roles)

• Full-time / Part-time / Shift-based
• Weekend and holiday duties may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
