Veterinarian

Key Responsibilities

• Examine animals to diagnose illnesses, injuries, and health conditions
• Provide medical treatment, vaccinations, and preventive care
• Perform minor and major surgical procedures as required
• Prescribe medications and advise on dosage and aftercare
• Conduct routine health check-ups and wellness programs
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment histories
• Educate animal owners on nutrition, hygiene, breeding, and disease prevention
• Ensure proper handling and humane treatment of animals
• Follow biosecurity and infection control protocols
• Participate in emergency and on-call services when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) / MVSc (preferred)
• Registered with State Veterinary Council / Veterinary Council of India
• Freshers or experienced candidates may apply
• Experience in small animals / large animals / farm practice is an advantage

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Knowledge of animal diseases, treatments, and preventive care
• Surgical and emergency care skills
• Good communication and client counselling skills
• Compassionate and ethical approach to animal welfare
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule

• Full-time / Part-time / On-call (as applicable)
• Flexible shifts depending on clinic or hospital requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
