Verification Engineer

Verification Engineer in Optical Systems will contribute in validating and improving cutting-edge optical transport solutions. Will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, ensuring high reliability and performance. Automate, troubleshoot will drive product excellence, work alongside architects and developers to enhance system functionality.

Solve automation problems in optical networking. Develop test plans, automate test cases, and perform regression testing on various network interfaces like Web UI and TL1.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for DWDM transmission systems.
• Execute tests to validate new features and report issues for resolution.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to debug and verify fixes.
• Automate test scripts to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct regression testing across multiple configurations.
• Gain deep expertise in optical networking and transmission technologies.
• Enhance problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong academic background in communication and network systems, with familiarity in WDM optical transport
• systems, including OTN and packet transport.
• Experience in test automation, preferably using Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking scenarios and provide efficient solutions.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of Fiber Channel technology.
• Exposure to various networking protocols and transport technologies.
• Strong motivation to learn and perform in a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
