Job Description

Role: ADAS / Autonomous Driving Performance Development & Vehicle Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mass-production performance for autonomous driving perception and control systems.
  • Analyze and remediate vehicle issues; perform optimization for ADAS/AD features.
  • Evaluate

    E-NCAP / NHTSA AEB

    protocols and test procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle-level validation, verification, and KPI performance checks.
  • Create test plans, manage resources, and support field and proving-ground testing.
  • Analyze CAN logs, sensor data, and system performance for root cause identification.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of

    ADAS sensor systems

    (Camera, Radar, LiDAR, Ultrasonic).
  • Knowledge of

    automotive communication protocols:

    CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
  • Experience with

    ECU calibration (XCP/CCP)

    .
  • Hands-on expertise with

    Vector tools: CANoe, CANape

    .
  • Understanding of automotive electronics development processes (V-model, ASPICE, ISO 26262 awareness).
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    8 -12 years in ADAS, Autonomous Driving, or Automotive Electronics.
  • Education:

    Bachelor/Masters in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer, Automotive, Robotics & Control Engineering or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing autonomous driving or ADAS features (L1L3).
  • Hands-on experience developing or validating ADAS/autonomous driving performance.
  • Knowledge of HIL/SIL environments and simulation tools (CarMaker, PreScan, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Familiarity with test tracks, proving-ground testing, and vehicle safety protocols.

Hands-on ADAS Domain Skills

AEB, ACC, LKA, LCA, TJA, BSD, FCW

  • Sensor data analysis: camera frames, radar point clouds, LiDAR data
  • Sensor calibration: camera alignment, radar tuning
  • Vehicle validation and on-road test execution
  • CAN log analysis, DBC handling, diagnostic troubleshooting
  • Use of dSPACE, NI tools, Vector toolchain
  • KPI evaluation, tuning, issue resolution

NOTE : People with HIL Testing or Bench Testing will not be considerd.

must and should have an exposure to vehile testing in real time application
