Vanaspati Operator

As a Vanaspati Operator at our Edible Oil / Vanaspati Manufacturing plant in Gandhidham, Gujarat, your role will involve operating and monitoring vanaspati manufacturing machinery and process units. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal process parameters for hydrogenation and fat blending, controlling valves, pumps, heaters, and other equipment involved in vanaspati production. It will be your duty to detect and report any abnormalities or equipment malfunctions promptly, ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards during operations. Additionally, you will record process data accurately and maintain shift logs, as well as coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams for smooth production. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor vanaspati manufacturing machinery and process units - Maintain optimal process parameters for hydrogenation and fat blending - Control valves, pumps, heaters, and other equipment involved in vanaspati production - Detect and report any abnormalities or equipment malfunctions promptly - Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards during operations - Record process data and maintain shift logs accurately - Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams for smooth production Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Oil Technology In addition to the responsibilities mentioned, it is crucial for you to have basic knowledge of vanaspati manufacturing processes and equipment, the ability to read process flow diagrams, and operate control systems. Your attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to process variations will be key in this role. Good communication and teamwork skills, along with a commitment to safety and quality compliance, are also essential for success in this position.
