Job Title: Senior Accountant US Accounting & Taxation Location: Greater Noida Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a results-driven Senior Accountant with at least 7 years of experience in US accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and taxation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, SAP, and other leading accounting tools. This role requires excellent English communication skills, a client-centric approach, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage full-cycle accounting operations for US clients, including AR/AP, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific accounting policies. Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and intercompany transactions. 2. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports. Provide variance analysis and management reports to clients for decision-making support. Assist clients in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning. 3. Taxation Manage US federal and state tax compliance for individuals and businesses (partnerships, LLCs, corporations). Prepare tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040), ensuring accuracy and timely filings. Research and apply relevant US tax laws, deductions, and credits to optimize tax strategies. 4. Tools & Software Proficiently use QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, SAP, and other cloud accounting platforms. Work with tax software (e.g., Drake, UltraTax, ProSeries) and Excel (advanced functions) for reporting and reconciliations. Assist clients with system migration, software integration, and setup when required. 5. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for US clients, handling queries and providing timely updates. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows. Communicate complex financial information in clear, concise English, both verbally and in writing. Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA). 7+ years of proven experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and taxation. Solid understanding of US GAAP, payroll, and tax regulations. Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience handling multiple US client accounts simultaneously in an outsourcing or CPA firm environment is a big plus. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with client-facing experience. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs. Preferred Skills Experience working in offshore accounting outsourcing setups. Knowledge of US sales tax, franchise tax, and other state-level filings.
