Job Description

Role Overview: As an Associate III - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, you will play a vital role in the development of system test plans, test cases, and automation for individual modules/products used in Data Centers or Cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams, developing automation for test content, ensuring product quality, spec adherence, and meeting project schedules and timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop system test plans, test cases, and automation for products like compute, accelerators, GPUs - Collaborate with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams for test content development based on product requirements - Execute automation to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications - Develop automated testing pipelines and CI/CD systems - Perform system level debugging and manage production level issues - Create test reports, debug/triage failures, and conduct stress, performance, and reliability testing - Report project status and effectively communicate with stakeholders Qualification Required: - Solid experience in systems engineering, embedded systems qualification and validation, system level integration, and automation framework (e.g., Robot Framework) - Familiarity with hardware bus interfaces, system design, and reading schematics - Understanding or experience with IPMI, BMC, SNMP, BIOS, Device Drivers, High Availability - Proficiency in Python for automation scripting using Robot framework - Ability to create system test cases, test plans, and automate execution - Experience in server validation, BIOS, scripting, UEFI - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Additional Details: UST values integrity, humility, and humanity, encouraging innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
