UX/UI Designer

As a talented and creative UI/UX Designer, you will join our team with a strong skill set in UI/UX design principles. You should be proficient in design tools like Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, and have a passion for creating seamless and intuitive user experiences. Your responsibility will be to design high-quality user interfaces, create wireframes, prototypes, and conduct UX research to ensure a user-centered approach in all design projects. You will be required to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive UI designs. Developing interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools will be part of your tasks, along with designing mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Implementing autolayout techniques in Figma for responsive design will also be crucial. Conducting UX research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and pain points, will be an essential part of your role. You will need to develop user personas, empathy maps, analyze research data, and create information architecture, site maps, and user journey maps to ensure clarity in the user experience. Your responsibilities will also include designing wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to iterate on design concepts quickly and effectively. Creating clear, functional, and accessible interaction flows to ensure a seamless user journey, developing detailed specifications for developers, and ensuring proper design implementation are key aspects of the job. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating design concepts effectively, participating in design critiques, and providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve design solutions are also part of your responsibilities. Applying color theory and visual design principles, developing consistent design systems, and ensuring design accessibility standards are met will be crucial. You will map user journeys to identify friction points and optimize the overall user experience. Collaborating on refining user flows and wireframes based on insights gathered from research and testing, continuously improving the design by analyzing user feedback and metrics, and maintaining and documenting design systems, patterns, and guidelines for consistency across design projects are also part of your role. Your skills and qualifications should include proficiency in design tools like Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, and other design tools, strong experience in wireframing and prototyping, in-depth knowledge of color theory, typography, and visual design principles, solid understanding of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and user feedback analysis, experience in creating information architectures, sitemaps, and user journey maps, ability to understand user needs, pain points, and goals through empathy maps and user personas, proficiency in using autolayout and designing for various screen sizes, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting pixel-perfect designs. Preferred qualifications include experience in UX writing or content strategy, knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and prior experience working in agile environments or with agile methodologies.
