UX Designer

As a UX Designer at Amagi, you will be part of the Amagi Design team based in Bangalore, working on building the future of media technology. We are looking for individuals with 27 years of experience who are passionate about designing for users, have a keen eye for detail, and approach complex challenges with thoughtful processes. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to craft intuitive, cohesive, and elegant experiences across our platforms. From the onset, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product direction by asking pertinent questions, identifying user needs, and translating insights into actionable opportunities. Your proficiency in synthesizing research, analyzing data, and conducting design workshops will be pivotal in this role. Design research will be a significant component of your work. You should be adept at planning and executing user studies, consolidating qualitative and quantitative insights, and utilizing these findings to drive informed and scalable product decisions. A strong foundation in visual design is essential for this position. You are expected to possess a solid understanding of graphic design principles such as typography, color theory, layout, and hierarchy, and apply them with clarity and elegance. While we do not mandate strict adherence to visual design norms, your creations should consistently exhibit thoughtfulness, precision, and aesthetic balance. This role demands the ability to navigate through ambiguity, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively across various disciplines. You must be proficient in articulating your ideas clearly, substantiating them with logical reasoning, and refining them through constructive criticism and iterative processes. Whether you are working on prototypes, journey maps, or final UI designs, your contributions will shape the interactions of some of the world's leading media brands with our tools.
