Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Officer located in Kolkata. The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal consulting, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with business and contract laws. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, advising on various legal matters, and ensuring all activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations. The Legal Officer will work closely with other departments to provide legal support and mitigate legal risks. Qualifications Conduct property due diligence and prepare legal search reports . Handle mutation, registration , and other property-related legalities. Draft, vet, and review legal documents including sale deeds, sale agreements, MoUs , and other property-related documents. Provide basic legal counsel and support to management on real estate transactions and compliance matters. Coordinate with external advocates for litigation and non-litigation matters. Ensure timely preparation and verification of all title documents, deeds, and agreements . Maintain accurate records of legal files, case updates, and registration details . Assist in preparing and finalizing due diligence reports , vetting of deeds , and title verification . Experience Required: 5–6 years in real estate legal work Qualification: LLB from a recognized university
