User Experience Designer

NOTE

Core Responsibilities

• Convert epics/PRDs to end-to-end flows, wires, and hifi prototypes; define states (empty, loading, error, edge cases).
• Codify repeatable patterns into the design system; contribute components/variants and usage guidance.
• Partner with BAs/Engineers on ACs; specify validations and microcopy; align with security/compliance.
• Prepare precise handoffs (specs, redlines, interaction notes) and run design QA before UAT.
• Validate on Edge/Chrome; ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and log a11y findings.
• Plan lightweight research (stakeholder walkthroughs, heuristics, and quick user checks) and synthesize insights.
• Track designedvsdelivered, rework rate, and defect leakage; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate dependencies with other squads (Reference Data, Transformation Service, Integrations).

Must-Have Skills

• 6-9 yrs enterprise workflow UX; advanced Figma (components/variants/prototypes); design system contribution.
• Strong UX writing/microcopy for enterprise errors and confirmations.
• Accessibility and browser validation literacy; evidence-led iteration.
• Comfortable with Angular constraints, REST/GraphQL concepts, and BFF patterns.

Good-to-Have

• Payments workflows exposure; Storybook collaboration; analytics tools (GA/Amplitude) basics; remote usability testing.
