As a Technical Support Engineer on the User Experience Team, you will have the opportunity to enhance the user experience for enterprise customers on a global SaaS platform. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, identifying unexpected behaviors, and providing precise solutions through various communication channels such as web, chat, email, and calls. You will delve deep into the ServiceNow platform, utilizing logs, developer tools, and your expertise to uncover solutions. Collaboration with global teams will be essential to continually improve product usability and performance. Your ability to simplify complexity, whether it's an intricate AJAX call or a UI glitch, will be crucial in your role. This position goes beyond traditional tech support - it involves platform-level troubleshooting for customized business-critical workflows on ServiceNow. You will play a part developer, part detective, and part trusted advisor, with a focus on UI/UX context. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 2 years of experience with ServiceNow in Support, Implementation, or Development. Knowledge of AngularJS, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, OOP principles, SQL, and strong debugging skills is necessary. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. Desirable skills include hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Components such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, Portals, UI Builder, familiarity with Virtual Agent, Configurable Workspaces, experience in SaaS or Web App Support, and knowledge of Incident Management, Knowledge Base, and Escalation Flows.
