In this role, you will be responsible for researching the customer usability experience of digital media. You will review the initial web design, assess usability, look, and feel of the company's website. Additionally, you will create simple demos of new tools and document functionality designed. Your role will involve monitoring the digital media form created to determine traffic through the website. With your in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in your discipline, you will work independently with minimal guidance. **Core Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and contribute to the experience design for external digital communications and websites for the company, including content development, user research, user-centered design processes, project leadership, and user experience prototyping and development. - Assist with various web and new media projects for the company and collaborate on special projects where there are additional needs for public web, new media communication, and the use of the company's public website. - Oversee efforts to expand and enhance the digital delivery channels of the company, improving the user experience for accessing current and future publications, outreach, research, data, special projects, speeches, educational materials, multimedia content, and other types of communications that support the mission of the company. - Assess a product's positioning and role within the online organization's sites, products, and services. Develop and write interaction and functional specifications. - Review competing products and recommend design solutions that differentiate the organization's products from those of competitors. - Develop new research and test theories that lead to alternative, leading-edge design solutions. - Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
