About This Role:
We are looking for a WhatsApp & Product Engagement Writer to be the writing muscle of Habuild. You will own copy across live sessions, in-app surfaces,
WhatsApp, and other product touchpoints, ensuring every word delivers value, clarity, and measurable engagement. This is writing for performance, not vibes.
Every line you write must drive behavior, improve retention, and guide users through their journey. You will work closely with the Chief Writing Officer, showrunner, and product team to craft experiences that users act on—whether it’s participating in a live session, completing a habit streak, or navigating the app with ease.

Key Responsibilities:
1. User Journey & Product Writing
a) Craft copy for discover & sign-up journeys, app notifications, onboarding flows, tooltips, gamification messages, and session merchandising.
b) Write for unique surfaces: app screens, CTAs, micro-copy, modals, alerts— ensuring clarity and impact.
c) Use live session polls and interactions to gather feedback and inform product and content decisions.
2. WhatsApp Engagement
a) Craft daily nudges, reminders, motivational messages, and campaign copy for both paid and free users.
b) Design messages that encourage participation, build habits, and increase retention.
c) Maintain consistency in tone and alignment with Habuild’s brand voice.
3. Ad-hoc Campaigns & Internal Planning
a) Write for holiday events, challenges, mini-programs, and other subscriber engagement initiatives.
b) Maintain internal content calendars, style guides, and SOPs.
c) Collaborate with product, program, and live session teams to ensure writing drives outcomes and adds measurable value.
4. Quality & Brand Control
a) Review all content across product and engagement surfaces to maintain brand tone, clarity, and effectiveness.
b) Iterate messaging based on engagement metrics and user feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in digital writing, UX writing, product copy, or engagement-focused roles.
- Experience crafting high-performing micro-copy, CTAs, landing pages, app surfaces, and direct engagement messaging.
- Ability to write for English and Hindi audiences; additional languages a plus.

Understanding of habit formation, wellness, and fitness content, especially for an elder demographic.
