US Tax Compliance Manager

Manager

• Deliver a full range of Partnership tax services for financial services clients in compliance with US tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax planning and review of complex Form 1065 tax returns for Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Fund of Funds, and other complex structures.
• Review and manage tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• Ensure compliance with:
• Form 1065, Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3
• State and Local Tax compliances
• International filing compliances
• Lead and manage client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting service delivery and identifying opportunities for extended services.
• Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff, including participation in performance reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with global counterparts using technology-enabled tools and processes.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• EA / CA / CPA certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 6+ years of progressive US/Global taxation experience, with at least 1 year at the Manager level.
• Proven expertise in reviewing Partnership (1065) forms for financial services clients.
• Demonstrated stability in career history (no frequent job changes).
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior experience working directly with US/global counterparts.
• Exposure to clients in Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Fund of Funds.
• Background in Big 4, mid-sized, or boutique consulting firms.
  

• Two rounds of interviews, conducted in person on the same day.
