Location: Chennai

Work Mode: On-Site

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 1065 Tax Reviewer to join our tax team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing partnership tax returns (Form 1065), ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of tax laws, partnership structures, and the ability to provide strategic tax planning insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure accuracy of partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and related schedules (K-1, K-2, K-3, etc.).
• Analyze complex partnership agreements to determine appropriate tax treatment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimize tax positions.
• Work closely with tax preparers to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Assist in tax research and provide recommendations on tax strategies.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax-related matters and potential areas of concern.
• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations affecting partnerships.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams for tax-related queries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with private equity, real estate, or investment partnerships.
• Familiarity with international tax considerations related to partnerships.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
