Job Description

Axis Hospital And Research Center, Kanpur is looking for Urology OT Technician to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Preparation : Set up the operating room for urological surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and in proper working order. Sterilization : Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room and prevent infections. Patient Preparation : Assist in positioning and preparing the patient for the urological procedure, which may include urinary catheterization and the application of sterile drapes. Instrument Assistance : Hand surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team during the procedure. Suction and Irrigation : Operate suction and irrigation equipment as required by the surgeon to maintain a clear surgical field. Monitoring : Monitor and document the patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels, during the procedure. Assist with Procedures : Provide direct assistance to urologists during a range of urological surgeries, including transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), kidney stone removal, bladder procedures, and more. Wound Closure : Assist with wound closure and apply dressings as directed by the surgeon. Postoperative Care : Assist with the transfer of the patient to the recovery area, ensuring the patient's safety and comfort.
