: Customer Service – Freight Forwarders

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Sea Freight Bookings:
• Handle customer inquiries and bookings for sea freight
• Coordinate with shipping lines and overseas agents for space bookings and schedules.
• Customer Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for sea freight customers.
• Provide updates on shipment status and resolve any service issues promptly.
• Address customer concerns, complaints, or exceptions professionally.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.
• Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations and Incoterms.
• Shipment Coordination:
• Track and monitor shipments from origin to destination.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, trucking companies, and warehouses for timely pick-up and delivery.
• Data Entry & System Updates:
• Accurately input shipment details into the freight management system
• Generate and issue invoices, handle billing queries.
• Problem Solving:
• Proactively manage shipment delays, port congestion, and exceptions.
• Provide solutions and alternative shipping options when needed.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with operations, sales, and customs departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
