Job Summary:

Taxation Specialist

Preference will be given to candidates staying in south Mumbai or within a radius of 5kms from Fort

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Taxation:
Handle corporate tax filings, income tax returns, advance tax calculations, and tax assessments.
Indirect Taxation:
Manage GST compliance, filings, refunds, reconciliations, and advisory.
Tax Planning & Strategy:
Develop tax-efficient strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure adherence to the latest tax laws.
Tax Litigation & Advisory:
Represent the organization in tax assessments, appeals, and liaise with tax authorities.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all taxation-related statutory requirements and deadlines.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate tax records, prepare reports, and provide insights for decision-making.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with internal finance teams, auditors, and external consultants to address taxation matters.
Tax Updates & Risk Management:
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and implement necessary compliance measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong knowledge of
Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other taxation regulations.
Proficiency in
accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICAITON SKILLS IN ENGLISH
