Urgently hiring Soldering Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Soldering Technician with a Diploma in Electronics and two years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic component soldering and assembly, ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies, ensuring high-quality connections and meeting company standards.
• Inspect and test electronic components, solder joints, and assemblies for accuracy and functionality.
• Follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering diagrams to assemble and solder electronic parts.
• Operate soldering equipment and tools, including manual soldering irons, soldering stations, and automated machines.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues with assemblies and perform rework as necessary to ensure product quality.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring proper handling and storage of components and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure proper assembly techniques and quality control.
• Conduct quality checks, including visual inspections, to ensure compliance with production specifications and industry standards.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines while handling tools, equipment, and materials.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in soldering and assembly of electronic components, particularly in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of soldering techniques and standards (e.g., IPC-610).
• Familiarity with basic electronic components and circuit boards.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience with testing equipment and tools for quality assurance.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) soldering.
• Experience with rework stations and desoldering techniques.
• Basic understanding of electronics testing equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
