Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain MS SQL Server databases to meet business and application requirements. Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business logic. Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning for large-scale databases.
Develop and manage ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and migration. Create and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business reporting needs.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all database environments.
Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and system errors. Participate in database design reviews, code reviews, and best practice initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server database development. Strong proficiency in T-SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning. Experience with ETL tools and processes (SSIS preferred). Solid experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or other reporting tools. Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, indexing strategies, and database architecture. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
