Job Title:

Role Overview

As a CNC Operator/Machinist (HMC/VMC), you will work with minimal supervision to set up and operate CNC machines for precision machining tasks involving the fabrication and modification of machine parts, tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC-controlled heavy machinery to produce precision parts

• Perform machining operations including cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.

• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, tooling, etc.) for quality output

• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards

• Use measuring instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers

• Safely handle tools, fixtures, and machining accessories

• Analyze issues and modify setups if required

• Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges

• Follow ISO guidelines, safety procedures, and 5S housekeeping requirements

• Support continuous improvement practices using lean tools

Qualification Required

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering OR BE / Equivalent

• Minimum 1+ year experience in CNC machining (HMC/VMC preferred)
