Job Description

Dispense medication accurately as per prescriptions.
Maintain inventory control, expiry management, and procurement planning.
Educate patients on medication adherence and side effects.
Ensure pharmacy documentation is audit-ready and compliant.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

100% accuracy in dispensation and documentation.
Zero stockouts or expiry-related errors.
Monthly audit compliance.
Quality patient counselling on drug safety.

Roles and Responsibilities

Dispense medications to patients according to prescriptions and provide guidance on usage.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including medication dispensed and dosage instructions.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
Provide counseling to patients on chronic medication use and potential side effects.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-5 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting (B.Pharma degree).
Strong knowledge of dispensing, pharmacy operations, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
