JD - Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Engineer with 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting the organizations network assets, ensuring compliance, and proactively defending against evolving cyber threats.
Responsibilities
Design and implement secure network architectures including segmentation, firewall policies, and VPN configurations. Manage and maintain network security devices such as firewalls Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, IDS or IPS, proxies, and NAC solutions. Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Monitor network traffic and logs using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats. Lead incident response efforts related to network-based attacks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of new infrastructure and applications. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques. Support audits and compliance initiatives ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc. Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 5 years of hands on experience in network security engineering or operations. Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, IDS or IPS, VPNs, and other security appliances. Strong understanding of TCP or IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. Experience with SIEM platforms Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm Familiarity with cloud network security AWS, Azure, GCP Solid grasp of threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis.
