Designation : Network Voice Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Avaya Product-specific knowledge across Unified Communication portfolio including but not limited to Media-Servers (S87xx, S88xx) and Gateways (G450/650), Session Manager, System Manager, and System Platform/ Virtualization (VMware), AES, CMS, Messaging and other adjunct systems

Troubleshooting and installation experience on Cisco CUCM, Unity and Voice gateway

Troubleshooting and installation experience on Avaya Communication Manager, System Platform, System Manager, Session Manager.

Communication Manager (Simplex/Duplex, ESS LSP): 6.x, 7.x 8.x

Experience in troubleshooting issues on Messaging Platforms such as Communication Manager Messaging, Avaya Aura Messaging.

System Manager (SMGR) Session Manager: 6.x, 7.x 8.x

Experience working on Messaging alarms and Outage scenarios (Avaya Aura Messaging, Communication Manager Messaging)

Gateway types: G650, G450.

Troubleshooting SM SMGR synchronization issues

Running trace on Session Manager and analyzing the same

Installation configuring Media Gateways

License installation Deactivation in Avaya CM, System Manager/Session Manager

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical abilities including packet capture analysis and ability to work across different platforms.

Control on written and oral communication.
