URGENT OPENING FOR GRADE 4 & 5 MATHS TEACHER

Role Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths and Science Teacher for Grades 4 & 5 who can foster conceptual understanding, curiosity, and application-based learning in students. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons aligned with the school’s inquiry-based learning approach.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Mathematics and Science based on the school’s curriculum.
• Use inquiry-based, experiential, and concept-driven teaching methods.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to the varied learning needs and styles of students.
• Use real-life examples, experiments, and technology to enhance understanding.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Curriculum & Planning

• Collaborate with grade-level and subject teams to plan interdisciplinary units and thematic learning experiences.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with learning objectives.
• Participate in regular academic planning and review meetings.

Classroom Environment

• Establish a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Foster a growth mindset and encourage student inquiry and collaboration.

Parent Communication

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and school events.

Professional Development

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
• Stay updated with best practices in education, especially in Maths and Science teaching for primary grades.

Qualifications & Requirements:Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).

Experience:

• 2+ years of teaching experience in primary or middle school, preferably in an ICSE/IGCSE or progressive school environment.

Skills:

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science for Grades 4 & 5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using digital tools (Google Classroom, smartboards, educational apps).
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
