Role & responsibilities Manage day-to-day production activities in accordance with production schedules and quality standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including training, mentoring, and performance management. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the production environment. Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste. Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate supplies for production needs. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality control standards. Prepare production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning among production teams. Preferred candidate profile B.E./ B.Tech in Production / Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience of 5-6 years in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment used in stationery manufacturing. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO standards) and lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and production management software. Perks and benefits
