Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and PHP to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with modern backend frameworks such as Express.js , NestJS (Node.js) and Laravel , CodeIgniter (PHP). You will be responsible for developing robust server-side applications, APIs, and system components for scalable web solutions. Role & responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using Node.js and PHP . Build server-side logic using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS . Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter . Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend systems. Write clean, efficient, and secure code while following industry best practices. Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Preferred candidate profile Backend Technologies: Strong hands-on experience in Node.js (with Express.js , NestJS ) Proficiency in CorePHP Additional Skills: Solid understanding of RESTful API design , MVC architecture , and backend security best practices . Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. Familiarity with Linux-based environments for server-side deployment. Proficient in version control systems (Git). Understanding of authentication mechanisms, session management, and data validation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3 to 9 years of backend development experience. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
