About the Role

9 Squares Architect’s is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Urban Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our innovative team in Indore. The ideal candidate will combine design excellence with a deep understanding of urban spaces, creating functional, aesthetic, and human-centered environments at various scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Design public spaces, streetscapes, neighborhoods, and urban precincts that enhance user experience and reflect community needs.
• Develop conceptual and detailed urban design frameworks, integrating architecture, landscape, and infrastructure elements.
• Conduct site and context analyses considering cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
• Prepare 3D visualizations, diagrams, and illustrative master plans for presentations and approvals.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, landscape architects, and engineers to ensure cohesive design outcomes.
• Contribute to design guidelines, streetscape manuals, and place-making strategies.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing feedback.
• Stay updated with urban design trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s in Urban Design preferred).
• Strong understanding of urban design principles, public realm planning, and spatial composition.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS (preferred), and MS Office.
• Excellent visual communication skills with the ability to create compelling graphics and presentations.
• Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a collaborative team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
