Role & responsibilities

About the Role

unpaid, voluntary internship

• Track 1 Full Stack Developer + Testing

• Track 2 UI/UX Designer (with basic implementation handoff)

UI/UX, development, and basic testing

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer + Testing (Primary Tech Track)

• Develop end-to-end features using

  React / Next.js (or similar)

  and

  Node.js / Express (or similar)

  .
• Convert

  Figma designs

  into responsive, pixel-aligned UI.
• Integrate and consume

  REST APIs

  , handle forms, validations, and basic auth flows.
• Work with databases (

  MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL

  ) for CRUD operations.
• Write and execute

  basic test cases

  for your own features (functional, UI sanity, negative cases).
• Log bugs with clear steps and fix them before release.
  
• Use

  Git / GitHub

  for branching, commits, pull requests and code reviews.

UI/UX Designer (Design Track)

• Design

  user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity Figma screens

  for web and mobile.
• Build and maintain a

  simple design system

  - components, spacing, typography, colors.
• Prepare

  developer-ready designs

  with proper auto-layout, constraints and annotations.
• Work closely with developers to ensure

  design-to-dev consistency

  .
• Support basic

  usability checks

  and propose UI improvements based on feedback.

Requirements

Common:

• Final-year student / fresher in

  CS/IT/Engineering/Design or related

  .
• Strong interest in

  startups, product building, and learning by doing

  .
• Laptop + stable internet, good written and verbal communication.
  
• Able to commit

  15–20 hours/week

  for

  2–3 months

  .

For Full Stack:

• Good understanding of

  JavaScript

  , basic

  React/Node

  or similar stack.
• Understanding of

  REST APIs

  and JSON.
• Comfortable with

  Git / GitHub

  .

For UI/UX:

• Hands-on experience with

  Figma

  .
• Understanding of

  basic UX principles

  (hierarchy, spacing, contrast, consistency).
