Unit Social Worker

As a Unit Social Worker / Therapist at Signet Health, your role will involve providing direct clinical social work services to patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team. The emphasis will be on completing Psychosocial Assessments, conducting groups, facilitating marital and/or family therapies, assisting in program development, and developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units, and other facilities to promote the program and provide education about available services. - Provide ongoing communications with referral sources regarding the status of patients referred into the program. - Participate in agency-wide training programs and in-services. - Ensure quality and timely clinical documentation as per Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements. - Demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal communication and interdisciplinary teamwork. - Treat patients with various types and presentations of psychiatric/behavioral health disorders. - Conduct psychosocial assessments effectively. - Develop interdisciplinary treatment plans. - Be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. - Display proficient oral and written communication skills. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit and/or substance use facility. - Experience in facilitating patients" access to community resources and conducting therapeutic groups. - Strong preference given to candidates with LICSW, LPC, or eligibility for endorsement and LGSWs with experience.
