Job Description

This position is responsible for design, development, implementation and support of Azure solutions in Big Data environment. Deliver new solutions and analyze/improve existing solutions, application migration in Azure Stack, Azure Databrick, Scala, Azure Data Factory, U-SQL, Dot Net, Python technologies. Provide technical expertise in the planning, engineering, design, implementation and support of Azure Applications. Build analytics solutions to support the required performance and scale Partner with the Server teams, Application Development Teams and the Business to ensure customer expectations are maintained and exceeded. Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new products and technologies, maintain knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise. Code complex U-SQL queries Support Disaster Recovery implementation and testing as required Troubleshooting/Resolving issues and Performance tuning Begin tackling organizational impediments Strong collaboration with leadership groups and Design Leads Capable of coaching up Participate in cross-departmental efforts Leads initiatives within the community of practice Good Communication skill with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience Required - Total Experience of 9+ Atleast 6 years experience in Big Data Applications and Environments Atleast 6 years of experience working in an Engineering capacity (planning, design, implementation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting and support) of Applications using Azure Stack, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory 4-5 years of experience in Coding complex U-SQL, Spark (Scala). 4-5 years of experience working in an Engineering capacity (planning, design, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and support) on ETL 3-5 years of experience in designing and developing Scala using Azure Databricks 3-5 years of Experience in DotNet and PL/SQL Accomplished highly motivated and results driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to think strategically and effectively communicate solutions to various levels of management Preferred Experience with Big Data Ecosystem: Hortonworks Data Platform, HDFS, Hive, HBASE, Kafka and related data integration technologies Experience with T-SQL Knowledge and skills (general and technical) Azure Stack, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory U-SQL, Spark (Scala) Any one or all of the scripting languages Powershell, Python, java script etc., C# DotNet PL/SQL, MSSQL, Other Databases Excellent communication skills
