Job Title : Unisex Hairstylist Location : Thane (mumbai) Reporting To : Salon Manager Industry : Beauty & Wellness (Salon) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced Unisex Hairstylist who can provide a wide range of hair services for both men and women. The ideal candidate should be creative, up-to-date with current trends, and deliver excellent customer service in line with the salon's standards. Key Responsibilities Perform haircuts, blow-drying, shampooing, styling, straightening, curling, and other hair services for both male and female clients. Provide professional hair colouring, highlighting, root touch-ups, global colour, and other chemical treatments like rebonding, smoothening, and keratin. Recommend suitable hairstyles, products, and treatments based on client needs and preferences. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the workstation. Understand and follow salon SOPs and service protocols. Ensure a great customer experience by being polite, attentive, and responsive to client feedback. Upsell services and products to meet salon sales targets. Stay updated with the latest hair trends, tools, and techniques through regular training. Assist and train junior hairstylists or salon assistants if required. Requirements Minimum 2–10 years of experience in a unisex salon setup. Proficiency in men’s and women’s haircuts, styling, and chemical treatments. Knowledge of professional hair products and tools. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Well-groomed, presentable, and client-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications Diploma or certification in Hairdressing from a recognized institute. Experience with premium salon brands is a plus.
