Job Summary: The Unisex Hair Stylist is responsible for providing a full range of hair care services to clients of all genders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires expertise in various cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The stylist will maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to salon sanitation standards, and stay updated on current hair trends and product knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair care needs, desired styles, and concerns. Assess hair type, texture, condition, and facial features to recommend suitable cuts, colors, and treatments. Communicate clearly about service options, pricing, and aftercare instructions. Hair Cutting & Styling: Perform precision haircuts for all hair lengths and types, including bobs, layers, fades, shags, and classic cuts for men and women. Execute various styling techniques such as blowouts, updos, braids, curls, and straightening. Provide special occasion styling for events like weddings, proms, and parties. Hair Coloring & Chemical Services: Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, including highlights, lowlights, balayage, ombré, root touch-ups, and full color applications. Perform chemical treatments such as perms, relaxers, keratin treatments, and straightening services. Assess hair condition before and after chemical services and advise on proper hair care. Hair Treatments & Conditioning: Recommend and perform various hair treatments, including deep conditioning, scalp treatments, and strengthening masks, based on client needs. Educate clients on the benefits of regular treatments and proper hair care routines. Product Knowledge & Sales: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all salon products (shampoos, conditioners, styling products, treatments). Recommend and sell retail hair care products to clients to support their at-home hair maintenance. Achieve sales targets for retail products. Sanitation & Salon Maintenance: Adhere strictly to all salon sanitation and sterilization protocols for tools, equipment, and workstations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work area and contribute to overall salon cleanliness. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance needs. Customer Service & Relationship Building: Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive and relaxing experience for clients. Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and foster client loyalty. Address client concerns professionally and efficiently. Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product innovations through ongoing education, workshops, and industry publications. Continuously refine skills and explore new creative approaches to hair styling. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹34,419.02 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
