Key Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming patient calls and email enquiries with professionalism and empathy. Schedule, confirm and coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures. Maintain and update the practice diary and records accurately. Prepare and process medical documentation, correspondence, and reports. Liaise with insurance companies regarding patient cover, authorisations, and claim submissions. Follow up on outstanding claims and patient payments. Coordinate with healthcare providers, laboratories and other relevant parties when needed. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and relevant medical regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a medical secretary, administrative assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting in UK. Knowledge of UK private medical insurance procedures and claims processing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with medical practice management software.
