UI/UX Designer

Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Figma – Web, Mobile & Desktop Applications)

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in designing web, mobile, and desktop applications using Figma. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience principles, visual design concepts, and design systems. You will be responsible for crafting user-centered interfaces, interactive prototypes, and design flows that align with business objectives and provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web, mobile, and desktop applications using Figma.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes for design validation.
• Apply UI/UX principles, heuristics, and best practices to deliver intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries for consistency across platforms.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Ensure designs are optimized for different screen sizes, resolutions, and devices.
• Provide handoffs and design specifications to developers using Figma’s collaboration tools.
• Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and UI/UX methodologies.
• Iterate designs based on feedback from users, teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.
• Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, and Collaboration features).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Experience designing for web, Android, iOS, and desktop platforms.
• Ability to translate requirements and wireframes into intuitive, functional, and aesthetically
• pleasing designs.
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Sketch.
• Knowledge of design handoffs tools such as Zeplin or Figma Dev Mode.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) for better design-to-code collaboration.
• Familiarity with design tokens, atomic design, or component-driven design systems.
• Exposure to user journey mapping and interaction design
• Experience in brand identity design and iconography is a plus.

Experience Level

1–2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design using Figma.

Languages

Tamil and English (written and verbal proficiency required).
