UI / UX / Design Lead

As a UI/UX Design Lead at SchoolApply, you will play a crucial role in taking ownership of the SchoolApply platform(s) by gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. Your responsibilities will include: - Gathering and evaluating user requirements to understand their needs - Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps for effective visualization - Designing graphic user interface elements to enhance user experience - Developing UI mockups and prototypes to showcase site functionality and appearance - Creating original graphic designs to align with the platform's branding - Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders for feedback - Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems to enhance usability - Conducting adjustments based on user and business feedback for continuous improvement - Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images for consistency To excel in this role, you should have: - Proven work experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer - A portfolio of impressive design projects showcasing your skills and creativity - Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders - Good time-management skills to meet project deadlines - A BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field to support your expertise If you are shortlisted as a top candidate, you will be asked to conduct an assessment of SchoolApply's current design, UI, and UX.
