UI / UX / Design Lead

SchoolApply is seeking a UI/UX Design Lead to spearhead the design aspects of the SchoolApply platform(s). As the Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in gathering user requirements, creating graphic elements, and constructing navigation components. Your expertise in design software and wireframe tools will be essential for success in this position. An impressive portfolio showcasing your professional design projects, particularly with web applications, is a prerequisite for consideration. In this role, your responsibilities will include assessing user requirements, visualizing design concepts through storyboards and sitemaps, crafting graphic user interface elements, producing UI mockups and prototypes, generating original graphic designs, presenting drafts to internal teams and stakeholders, identifying and resolving UX issues, incorporating feedback from users and business stakeholders, and maintaining style standards for fonts, colors, and images. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer, a robust portfolio of outstanding design projects, excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, proficient time-management abilities, and a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Selected candidates will be requested to conduct an evaluation of SchoolApply's current design, UI, and UX. Based on the quality of your analysis, you will have the opportunity to present your insights to the management team as part of the interview process.,
