Job Description

  • Be the primary spokesperson for the solutions/ applications being developed and liaison with the customer, providing capability demonstration.
  • Lead the proposals of assigned clients - presentations, scoping, estimating efforts etc
  • Create statements of work (SOWs) with milestone plans, key deliverables, assumptions, commercials, dependencies, and other contractual artefacts.
  • Collaborate and develop e-commerce strategies that encompasses the goals of a client.
  • Provide technical and architectural guidance for frontend web applications.
  • Take complete ownership and ensure delivery of assigned projects on schedule with quality.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage change requests and scope creep.
  • Monitor project baseline to ensure activities progress as planned.
  • Manage profit and loss (PL) for projects, ensuring margins and client service-level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
  • Create and implement strategies to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget.
  • Participate in key Sprint activities like Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and other key ceremonies.
  • Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
  • Guide the team in requirement closures, design, development, and verification/validation tasks.
  • Identify productivity and quality process improvements and incorporate them as needed.
  • Make critical business decisions to meet client expectations.
  • Provide guidance to the team in domain aspects.
  • Ensure that the team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
  • Publish status reports with metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with subject-matter experts (SMEs) like Architects, Development leads, etc to define best practices and benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues on programs/projects and develop mitigation plans.
  • Identify new service opportunities with clients and support the sales team to close the deals effectively.
  • Identify business problems and come up with ideas to build solutions and frameworks to offer to various clients and monetize.
  • Generate and execute onboarding, training, knowledge transfers, and skill-building plans.
  • Assist in hiring the right talent for the organization.
  • Motivate and mentor team members.
  • Manage appraisals and retentions.
  • Ensure case studies are created and published with the help of internal stakeholders.
  • Encourage and guide team members to write white papers and blogs.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, offshore development team, Senior Management, and multiple onsite teams.

Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years of IT experience in UI technologies/frameworks like Angular, React, Node, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Vue, Bootstrap, etc
  • At least five years of end-to-end solutions and delivery management experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing omnichannel applications using responsive design and cross-browser applications.
  • Expertise in developing UI for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Salesfrce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/Demandware platforms.
  • Good experience in developing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lambda functions.
  • Hands-on experience in REST services.
  • Excellent understanding of industry-proven design patterns and a problem solver.
  • Prior experience in configuring and performance improvement of UI applications.
  • Strong background in delivering projects with first-time-right approach and Zero defects in production.
  • Should have client-facing experience and have worked in a cross-functional matrix organization.
  • Experience in pre-sales working on RFP / RFI and using estimation techniques like (Use case, FP, Story points).
  • Experience in making presentations, demonstrations to customers and the internal management team.
  • Successful experience in building teams, goal setting, coaching, and developing individuals to achieve targeted results.
  • Experience in managing around 50+ resources in a single account or multiple accounts or UI portfolio/ practice.
  • Should have experience in driving organizational initiatives like creating case studies, writing white papers, and blogs.
  • Experience in using version control and CI / CD tools like SVN, GIT, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Hudson is mandatory.
  • Experience publishing program/portfolio metrics to the management team
  • Good understanding of B2B and B2C e-commerce
  • Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory.
  • Should have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
