UI Frontend Developer

As a Software Engineer - UI at Practo, you will be part of the world's leading healthcare platform connecting millions of patients with healthcare providers globally. Your role involves designing and developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using React and Node.js. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services will be a key responsibility. You will drive technical excellence using modern UI frameworks and best practices in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. As an experienced UI Team Lead, you will mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Optimizing application performance and ensuring adherence to coding and security standards will also be part of your duties. Your 2+ years of professional experience in UI development, specifically in building complex web applications using React and Node.js, is mandatory. Previous experience in a consumer tech company of scale is also required. Your proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies, along with expertise in modern UI frameworks/libraries such as Redux, React Router, Material-UI, will be essential for this role. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end/backend integration is crucial. Demonstrating an X-factor through innovative projects and leadership beyond traditional roles will be given extra weightage. Open-source contributions are highly valued and will be strongly considered. Candidates with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and proven leadership experience (2+ years preferred) in a front-end development role are encouraged to apply.
