UI Developer

Experience: 2.6 years to 6 years

Location: Pune

Notice period: immediate joiner

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development of responsive and interactive web interfaces using semantic HTML5 and modular CSS3. • Translate complex UI/UX designs from tools like Figma or Sketch into pixel-perfect implementations. • Develop scalable and maintainable styling architecture using CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap). • Implement dynamic behaviours using vanilla JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery where appropriate. • Champion best practices for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design. • Collaborate with design, product, and backend engineering teams to define and refine requirements and deliverables. • Guide and mentor junior developers and peers through code reviews and technical discussions. • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, particularly for SPAs built using Angular. • Proactively identify UI performance bottlenecks and optimize rendering and load times. • Advocate for clean, well-documented, and reusable code. Core Skills & Qualifications: • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript, with a focus on responsiveness and interactivity. • Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap. • Proficiency with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS. • Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and event handling. • Strong visual and design sensibilities, with the ability to faithfully translate high-fidelity designs into code. • Hands-on experience working in Agile teams and on Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular, ReactJS, or similar frameworks. • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and working with design files from tools like Figma or Sketch. • A collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers. Nice to Have: • Exposure to backend technologies such as PHP, ASP.NET, Python, or CMS platforms like WordPress. • Familiarity with querying tools and languages such as SQL or Presto. • Experience building accessible HTML emails and ensuring compatibility across email clients. • Understanding of frontend performance optimization and SEO best practices. • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
