Job Description

Role:

UFT Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute
automated test scripts
using
UFT
for web and desktop applications.
Create and maintain
VBScript-based automation scripts
that are modular, reusable, and optimized for efficiency.
Perform
functional and regression testing
using UFT frameworks.
Automate desktop UI applications (Windows Forms, WPF, etc.) and troubleshoot automation issues.
Develop and enhance
automation frameworks
(Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid).
Integrate automation frameworks with
version control, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools
.
Collaborate closely with business, QA, and development teams to ensure automation alignment with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

4–6 years
of experience in
UFT Automation
(Web + Desktop).
Strong VB Scripting
skills – must be able to develop efficient, reusable scripts.
Hands-on experience in
Desktop UI Automation
(Windows Forms / WPF).
Proficiency in developing or enhancing automation frameworks.
Prior experience integrating automation with
CI/CD tools
(e.g., Jenkins, Git).
Good communication and
client interaction
skills.
Exposure to Agile environments preferred.

Work Mode

Hybrid:
3 days per week from office (Gurugram / Bangalore)
