Role & responsibilities To provide a service in a nice, efficient, and professional way following the tulh standards Ensure the Salon & Beauty treatment area is fully prepared before the guest enters, including music, lighting, treatment tools, etc. Keep and support good attitude and create good relationship with colleagues and management to create positive atmosphere Keep workstations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs., sterilization of the tools after every client - keeping track Provide guest with full information regarding all Wellness services and products, Maintain the safety instructions for all Wellness equipment Actively participate in all training and development programs Guest will be picked up from the designated waiting area 3-5 min prior to the appointed time, introduce yourself and ensure treatment lasts the full duration. Once inside the nail treatment area, confirm the treatment type, duration and a brief description of the experience and products used. Guest will be presented with a good selection of colours which reflect recent trends as well as classic colours If available, offer guest a food & beverage menu. Ask guest preference regarding polish, nail shape, length. Suggest additional services to meet guest needs. Pedicures: Respect privacy with guest draping offering a towel when necessary. Check guest satisfaction with length, shape and colour of first completed nail in each step. At least once during the treatment, ensure guests comfort. Ensure the guest is not left alone. While product is resting or during soaking, provide small services such as hand, foot and/or scalp massage. Prior to polish application, wipe off excess product from guest’s hands and feet, if applicable. Pedicures: Provide guest with pedicure sandals to allow polish to dry. Escort guest to their next destination offering advice for appropriate time for their polish to dry. Provide homecare advice including product guidance on the retail nail area. Assist guest to avoid damage to polish. Keep a log of cleaning track of pedicure stations after each guest Able to provide following hair treatments: Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors. Analyse patrons' hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles. Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush. Update and maintain customer information records, such as beauty services provided. Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions. Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics. Develop new styles and techniques. Apply water, setting, straightening or waving solutions to hair and use curlers, rollers, hot combs and curling irons to press and curl hair. Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set style. Administer therapeutic medication and advise patron to seek medical treatment for chronic or contagious scalp conditions. Massage and treat scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes, using hands, fingers, or vibrating equipment. Shave, trim and shape beards and moustaches. Recommend and explain the use of cosmetics, lotions, and creams to soften and lubricate skin and enhance and restore natural appearance Preferred candidate profile
