We are looking for an 6+ years of experienced SAP Commerce Support Engineer to provide technical and functional support for SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform system monitoring, and ensure the smooth operation of the e-commerce platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud).
- Troubleshoot application issues, analyze logs, and resolve defects within SLAs.
- Monitor system health, performance, and uptime, ensuring high availability.
- Work closely with business users to understand and resolve functional issues.
- Debug and analyze code to identify and fix technical problems.
- Perform regular system maintenance, including patch updates and performance tuning.
- Document resolutions, SOPs, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Expertise in SAP Hybris e-commerce platform (B2C and B2B platforms), customizing Hybris based e-Commerce Applications, Hybris CMS and e-commerce suite.
- Strong understanding of the entire eCommerce development process.
- Leading design, development, documentation and implementation using SAP Commerce and meet project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements.
- Serve as knowledge expert for sourcing "deep dive" solution architecture information in Hybris, including issues arising from globalization and localization.
- Prepare design diagrams, test/debug programs, and perform solution configuration leveraging an understanding of business process, industry trends, and systems architecture, as needed.
- Design and develop high quality backend and frontend code that meets business objectives, quality standards and secure web development guidelines.
- Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing. Ability to effectively perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis), debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system.
- Manage support functions including project milestones, working closely with Development, QA, Release Management, Operations, and end users.
- Spontaneous and adaptive to new environments, applications and methods. Always looking for more effective approaches to getting work done.

3+ years experience with Planning, Architecting, Developing, Customizing & Configurating of a large/global scale SAP Hybris e-commerce platform (B2C and B2B platforms) is a plus.
Expertise with SAP Hybris tools including Management Console, Administration Console, Cockpits, Cron Jobs, internationalization, personalization and security concepts,
Subject Matter Expertise in Product modelling, catalog structure and workflows with Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Java, J2EE Application Servers, Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript and XML technologies
Design and Develop SAP Hybris back-office monitoring policies including Cron Jobs, ImpEx, logs and alerts, site availability and performance monitoring.
Design and Develop Custom APIs by utilizing Design Patterns
Design and Lead B2C Hybris accelerator by implementing all modules of eCommerce (Catalog Management, Product Merchandising, Inventory Availability, Shopping Cart and Checkout, Order Management, Search and Guided Navigation, SEO, Personalization, Gift Registry, Returns Management, Customer Service, Product Information, Backoffice Product Content Management, Pricing and Promotions).
- Strong integration experience with Internal Systems and 3rd Party Vendor systems in both Synchronous & Asynchronous fashion.
